I’ve had lower back pain for several years. I’m old and didn’t grow up with Physical Education classes that taught me how to stay fit. They just threw us out a ball and said, “Play.” So, I really haven’t exercised to stay fit or prioritized exercise as I always feel I have too many other things on my plate to do.
We purchased a V6 Free-Standing Vertical Movement System from Vertical Dynamics and have been using it for 10 months now. I have decreased my lower back pain to almost not being there, and I feel more strength in my legs.
Our VMS takes up little space, unlike a treadmill or other exercise equipment. I could tell right away, within the first 24 hours, that Vertical Movement was working and how out of shape my muscles were because I was sore everywhere the next day. I like the fact that I feel like I have really exercised my whole body in just 12 minutes on the VMS. I used to walk on a treadmill for 30 minutes and not feel like I had gotten a workout. Even after 10 months of using the VMS, I still feel like I’m getting a good workout after about half-way through the 12 Life Movements.
When I get on the VMS in the morning before work, it makes me feel more energized and motivated for the day. I’ll admit that sometimes I’m lazy and don’t get on the VMS for a week, and I pay with sore muscles for a few days after I get started again.
